NASSAU COUNTY PAKISTAN FLOOD RELIEF

Toys 4 Eid, South Asian American Small Business Association and Masjid Hamza are collaborating to raise funds for the victims of the devastating Pakistan floods that have misplaced millions of people from their homes. A third of Pakistan has been completely submerged under water by the worst flooding in Pakistan's history. The floods have washed away homes, schools, hospitals, crops and livestock.

Local organizations have come together to raise funds and distribute the funds to "Helping Hands for Relief and Development" and "Children of Adam." Both these organizations have volunteers on the ground coordinating with various agencies and departments to purchase items locally in Pakistan, including but not limited to: tents, clothing, medication, hygiene products and food. The efforts also include shelter homes, medical services, mosquito nets, dry food, and clean water.
