EVAN LIPSEY / NYLF : ENGINEERING Summer program

My son is Evan Lipsey, a Sophomore at Memorial Early College High School (MECHS) in New Braunfels, TX. He was chosen to represent MECHS in the upcoming NYLF Envision ENGINEERING program sponsored by George Mason University. The session he would like to attend is July 7th-14th held at Georgia Tech University. It is a week long curriculum where he will be exposed to the various multi-disciplinary platforms of Engineering. He will gain real-world exposure to multiple professional opportunities in the expansive field of Engineering, learn from highly accomplished university faculty and professional engineers, and gain access to cutting-edge facilities and labs. He will also earn 2 college credit hours upon completion of the program. There is a detailed explanation of the entire week long curriculum that I will be glad to email you upon request. The attendees will stay there on campus.  The tuition for the program ($3,395 + fees) includes food & lodging. We are asking for donations to cover the expense of the tuition and we can cover the airfare ($300-$400). Thank you in advance for supporting Evan in this exciting opportunity for him.
