Natalia's Car Accident
Donation protected
Hey there, thanks for taking the time to read this. My name is Gretchen, and over this past weekend, my younger sister, Natalia, was in a major car accident. As she was driving home from work at 11pm, her car hydroplaned off of the highway, and rolled several times into a ditch with muddy water. Her seat belt came undone, and after the car stopped tumbling, she had ended up on the passenger side windshield, with water against her back and her phone near her hand. Thankfully, she was able to dial 911 before her phone shut off. She was unable to move, so by the time EMS arrived, the water from the ditch had reached past her ears.
She was unable to move herself, and so she was trapped in her car. The emergency professionals had to cut her out of the car to retrieve her. She was taken to the hospital with a large, 8" gash in her arm, and a broken vertebrae. Thankfully, her spine did its job and protected her spinal cord, so despite the broken vertebrae being in her lower back, she can still walk and move. She will, however, be in a brace for a very long time.
She is the mother of two boys and the sole financial provider of her family. I am setting up this gofundme to try and help her pay for a new car, her incoming medical bills after insurance, and to keep her and her boys on their feet while she recuperates. Anything you are able to donate helps.
Thanks again for taking the time to read this, and thank you immensely if you are able to help.
Below are some images of her car and how deep it ended up in this water
