Natalie & Josh Trish Car Accident
Donation protected
On Sunday, January 29th, Natalie and Josh Trish and their 3 children were headed home when they were unexpectedly struck head on in their Honda Civic. The family was rushed to York hospital, and as you can see it's a miracle that everyone survived. The children are unharmed, aside from bruising from their seat belts, but Natalie and Josh were not as lucky. Natalie suffered from a dislocated and broken hip, and has since undergone surgery to repair her hip and begun physical therapy. Josh is still awaiting surgery for a broken ankle, crushed bones in his foot and a fractured hip. They're expected to remain in the hospital for another week, and then begin the long process of physical therapy in rehabilition facilities.
Natalie and Josh are newlyweds, just married September 3, 2016. Like any newlyweds they began planning their big steps for the future, which included Josh starting a new career in December, and Natalie also starting a new career and business in January. As Josh has started his new job in December, he has not yet accrued sick or vacation time, and Natalie is without sick or vacation time as well. Natalie is expected to walk again with the assistance of a cane in 3 to 4 months. And Josh is expected to return to restricted work in 3 to 4 months while wearing a soft cast.
As you can imagine, Natalie and Josh are worried about how they are going to support their family and pay their bills during their long recovery process. With such a difficult road ahead of them, it is my hope that this fundraiser can help to ease the financial burden and stress that is hanging overhead like a dark cloud. Every dollar raised will go directly to aiding this burden of their household. Every dollar is greatly appreciated and will mean the world to this new family.
