Natalie and Raylee Franklin

I am a family friend fundraising for Natalie and Raylee Franklin as they navigate some pretty grown up stuff in the next 12 months.

Natalie and Raylee lost their Dad to suicide in October this year. He loved them very much but wasn't able to leave them with a clear plan forward after his death. Natalie is 20 years old and Raylee is 17, their parents were divorced which leaves the burden on these very young adults to navigate probate. Natalie is currently in college and Raylee is a senior in High School.

They will be going through the probate process and will need to #1 grieve the loss of their Dad, #2 Stay in school and #3 Pay their own way while the court sorts out his debts and assets.

I'm writing this because I have also lost a parent to suicide and I know the road they must traverse, it's going to require a lot of resources that they simply cannot afford. They will need to retain a lawyer, pay the mortgage on their Dad's house so the bank doesn't foreclose, and find the money for things this year that their Dad would have contributed to like tuition, graduation, cap and gown, insurance and other utilities/repairs/homeowner expenses and counseling for both girls.

Natalie and Raylee are two of the kindest humans I know. Natalie has the most infectious laugh, and tells the best stories, Raylee is funny, kind, and confident. They are amazing humans, and with our help they will persevere through this tragedy.
