Natalie Fanell

My name is LJ Burgess and I'm doing a fundraiser for my best friend, Natalie Fanell. Natalie was diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of 2021. She has fought courageously and has recently decided to transition into hospice. Natalie is a proud wife and mom of three children. She received her cancer diagnosis around the time she graduated from nursing school. She worked as an RN at OSU on a med-surg floor and in endoscopy. She was also a clinical nursing instructor for a short period of time. Even though the cancer caused significant pain, she still came to work with a smile on her face. During her conversations with her friends, she always asks about how they are doing before discussing how she is doing. Even now, during phone calls, she immediately asks about how I'm doing with the stress in my life. Her faith in Jesus Christ has held strong and is truly an inspiration. She always says "God's got this."

Before she decided to transition to hospice, she quit working. This fundraiser is meant to help Natalie and her family with medical bills along with anything else they might need during this challenging time. Natalie appreciate everything we are doing for her. She will not be able to thank everyone individually, but know that she appreciates it’s deeply.
