Supporting Natalie Through Cancer #NatalieStrong

Dear Friends and Family,

As many of you may know, my niece, Natalie Honzalek, 13, was recently diagnosed with a very rare form of sarcoma cancer in her cheek. As you can imagine, this all happened very quickly. Nathan and Amy feel blessed that Natalie is receiving care from the best doctors at Mayo Clinic. In addition, The Ronald McDonald House has been nothing short of incredible for the family. Natalie has already started her treatment plan which includes 42 weeks of chemo along with radiation. Anyone who knows Natalie, knows how very strong she is. Natalie is the most adventurous and fearless girl, from hunting and fishing, to playing hockey and softball, this girl is tough! When the family discussed the diagnosis, Natalie didn't cry when told she couldn't play softball or she would lose her hair. She did cry when she was told she couldn't play hockey next year. This is the start of the first period of her battle and she has already dropped the gloves and is ready to fight. She is a fighter and will beat this thing. #NatalieStrong

Amy and Nathan are in disbelief at the outpouring of support and prayers as the news has spread. They feel truly grateful to have such amazing family and friends. All support will go directly to Nathan, Amy, Natalie and Caleb to help them through this time, anything over and beyond what they need will go to The Mayo Clinic and Ronald McDonald House.
