Natalie's endometriosis surgery
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
My name is Natalie. I'm a 28-year-old graduate student. For the past two years, I've experienced worsening pain on the right side of my pelvis. I've gone through countless tests and imaging with negative results. My doctors have ruled out all other possibilities and believe I have endometriosis, a painful and lifelong condition in which uterine tissue grows outside the uterus and other organs. My quality of life has been severely compromised. I'm in pain most days, constantly bedridden, and unable to work.
Unfortunately, the only way to diagnose and remove endometriosis is through laparoscopic surgery. My surgery is on May 13th, but I'm unable to afford it as a graduate student. I would be eternally grateful for any financial support so that I can go back to a normal life and pursue my research.
