Hi all, I am caring for a young girl who has been through extreme adversities. Katya came here two years ago with her mum as a refugee. She had not known anyone here, nor did she speak the language.

Not sooner had she settled down than her mum passed away on 19.01.2025. She only has an aunt now who lives in another city and so she lives with me.

Katya is very talented and is a budding artist. She speaks English and French and is teaching herself Korean.

They did not have much and are now struggling to pay for the funeral.
