My name is Natalya Nightshade. I'm a pole dancer, performer, instructor, studio owner, and show producer who has been passionately sharing her love of pole over the last 8 years. In my time as a professional in the industry, I've made it my mission to speak out against injustice in the industry and prioritized creating safe spaces and providing platforms for my fellow artists, particularly those from historically marginalized groups.

For the last 6 months, I have been cyberstalked and relentlessly harassed by a former student. Despite my multiple requests to cease all communications, her harassment has only increased. In addition to receiving at times dozens of messages a day, the unwanted contact has recently devolved into threatening behaviors.

I have hired an attorney and am currently in the midst of the legal process of filing a restraining order and criminal stalking charges, but due to the recent escalation I too have been forced to cancel my pole show, Nocturnelle, for the safety of myself and everyone in involved. Between legal fees and lost income, I am currently out over $10k. If you have ever been touched by my movement, my words, my teaching, or my presence, I would greatly appreciate any and all contributions to recoup my lost wages and legal fees.
