Natasha & Leo lost everything in the Palisades Fire

Hi everyone! My name is Luke Overin, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my sister, Natasha Overin, and her partner, Leo Kalogeropoulos. Tragically, they lost their home and all their belongings in the Palisades fire. Thankfully, Natasha, Leo, and their two dogs are safe, but due to their home’s proximity to the starting point of the fire, they had less than 10 minutes to evacuate. They only had time to grab their dogs, a small suitcase of sentimental items, and the clothes on their backs. Everything else was destroyed in the fire.

The devastation of losing everything they’ve worked so hard to build has been overwhelming. This was their first home together, a dream they both tirelessly worked to make a reality. Overnight, that dream—and all their possessions—were reduced to ashes.

Anyone who knows Natasha and Leo knows how incredibly hardworking, kind, and self-sufficient they are. They would never ask for help unless it was truly necessary. However, starting over from scratch is an enormous task, and they need your support to make their future house feel like a home again.

Funds raised will go directly toward needs not covered by insurance or federal assistance, including:

Emotional recovery efforts, such as therapy or counseling, to help process the trauma of losing their home, community, and all their belongings overnight.
Out-of-pocket relocation costs, including application fees and moving expenses as they search for a new place to call home.
Pet-related expenses for Momo and Luci, such as replacing lost pet supplies (crates, collars, leashes, brushes, and grooming tools).
Any fees for professional guidance, including navigating FEMA, insurance claims, and other aid processes.
Rebuilding a sense of home, by replacing sentimental and personal items not considered essential by FEMA, such as home décor, linens, favorite furniture pieces, gardening tools (Natasha had started an herb and vegetable garden just months before the fire), and kitchenware (Natasha and Leo are both avid home cooks and bakers).

Your support will help Natasha and Leo navigate the challenges of this unimaginable loss and start their life together over again. Any remaining funds will be donated directly to other families impacted by the January 2025 Los Angeles fires.
