Natasha was the victim of a hit and run

My name is Caralyn and I started babysitting Natasha and her brothers when she was around 4 years old. Her mother and I became besties and I have been a part of their lives since. Just yesterday I received a devastating phone call from Ashley stating that Natasha was a victim of a hit and run. Once she arrived by ambulance to the hospital she had a lot of tests done to find out what the damage was. As of now she has a fractured pelvis/both hips have hairline fractures, a broken ankle as well as a fractured femur. They are waiting for an MRI of her knee to know how badly it is injured, but the X-rays last night showed no broken bones. They are thinking there are some ligament tears that might require surgery. This morning she has undergone one of the surgeries for her hip and femur. A rod and screws were placed in her femur but the doctors are saying her hips will heal with time. She is still needing 2 more surgeries as of this time. The swelling needs to go down on her ankle before they can do surgery on it. I know funds are tight for them and everyday they are at the hospital they are paying for parking and not being able to work. Please consider helping me to raise funds for anything insurance doesn’t cover as well as anything they made need to get by during this difficult time.
