Natasha's plea

We’re Noor and and Kimi, Mummy and Daddy to Natasha.

As many of you know she has Tricuspid atresia, which is a heart defect in which the tricuspid valve between two of the heart's chambers isn't formed. Instead, there's solid tissue between the chambers, which restricts blood flow and causes the right lower heart chamber to be underdeveloped.

She’s spent 7 months of her 12 months alive mainly in hospital, its literally breaking our hearts to see her this way as she’s growing up. She is such a happy little girl, and you can see that she will choose love and laughter over anything, knowing that it will cause her pain otherwise but still soldiers on.

There's no way to treat Tricuspid atresia, but it can normally be mitigated with multiple surgeries and medicine for life. Treatment involves surgery to ensure enough blood flow through the heart and into the lungs. This can normally be treated within the UK through a number of operations. We have spoken with a doctor based within Boston Children’s hospital who can mitigate the issues with one major surgery.

Surgery is required at Boston Children’s hospital, with an overall cost of £42,500 including travel, accommodation and surgery.

We have managed to get together £28,000 by way of selling our car, taking bank loans, and borrowing from friends.

Our parents have been able to provide us with £7750, leaving around £6750 remaining to pay. Because I work, I am able to provide another £1250 before the travel and surgery is required, hence why I have put this at £5500.

The last thing we wanted to do was ask for money from the public, however we have left ourselves financially broke, selling, borrowing and loaning, and are struggling to see any other way around this. We appreciate all your support and hope you can help.
