Nate & Erin Hirt - Embryo Adoption
Donación protegida
Hi,
My name is Amanda, and I am a close friend of Erin Hirt's. Erin and her husband Nate have been trying to start a family. Unfortunately, infertility issues have made this difficult. After going through many tests and procedures, they have decided that embryo adoption is the best route for them.
Embryo adoption is when a couple who has gone through IVF has extra, frozen embryos that they will not be using. They donate these extra embryos to another couple struggling with infertility.
This path will allow Erin to experience the joys of pregnancy and delivery.
Shortly after deciding that this was the path they wanted to take, things seemed to fall into place when a friend of Erin's reached out to let her know she had extra embryos she was willing to donate.
Erin and Nate have begun taking the steps needed in order to move forward with the embryo transfer. This includes psychological evaluation, lawyers, testing, and many medications, and frustratingly, none of which are covered through insurance. Erin has let me know that they still have about $8000 left to pay to complete all of the necessary steps, including the embryo transfer.
Erin has not only become such a good friend of mine over the past few years, but I've watched her become one of my daughter's most favorite people in the world, and it has been so special to have her as a part of our lives!
I would love to be able to help them out in covering these expenses. If you could, please consider donating to help them complete this exciting process. Prayers are also so appreciated for everything to go smoothly going forward.
Thank you!!
