Nate Layfield

Hi, our names are Kirby and Ashley Miller and we are fundraising for a family that is very loved and close to us. Our dear friends tragically and suddenly lost their only son, Nate, to a selfish and senseless act. Nate was only 10 years old and had so much more life to live, but on July 24th 2023 his life was taken from him.

The hopes of our fundraiser is to help with expenses for the unexpected cost that they will endure in giving their son the funeral and memorial that he so much and lovingly deserves. This family’s lives have been turned upside down, and this fundraiser is just one small way to show them that even though we cannot take away their pain, we can help lessen and ease the financial burden they will face in the days ahead. This family is not one that would ever ask for help, as they are the one’s that are usually helping others. Nate’s mom, Kristen is a child advocate that daily helps and protects children and their families who are facing hard times. Timmy, Nate’s stepfather is a firefighter that serves and protects his community without hesitation.

No amount is too small, and every donation will be greatly appreciated. All funds will go directly to Nate’s mother to assist the family with the costs associated with the funeral expenses.
