Help nate stay safe in the face of medical duress

Hello. My name is Sierra, and I am currently writing this from the emergency room on behalf of my dear friend, Nathan Davis. As some of you may know, Nate struggles with Deep Vein Thrombosis and Venous Ulcers. Over the past ten months, Nate has pushed through despite loss of a job, closely facing homelessness, and severe chronic pain and suffering.
The pain has finally reached its breaking point for him, and we went to the emergency room today. Upon being checked in and checked out, Nate has found out that he has a cellulitis infection starting in his venous ulcers and that he will need admittance to the hospital. The physicians have no word on how long he will be admitted, just that he needs continuous care to ensure the infection is taken care of. We are exploring the option of surgery, to help finally eradicate the main source of his pain and suffering, but that will require for him to take time off from work and to stay in one place to recover. We are also exploring the option of adult care in which will be talked through with the social worker on the case.
All that being said, Nate needs our help to make sure whatever happens, that he doesn’t end up on the streets; further worsening his condition. With him missing work this week for the hospital stay, he would only have enough funding to keep a roof over his head for the remainder of the week. Not to mention, the uncertainty of maintaining employment afterwards.
This fundraiser is set to 5,000 as a goal solely because we do not know what the future will be holding. All funds will be used to ensure that Nate has medical care and a roof over his head. Any and all help is appreciated, deeply.
