Stand With Nate!!

Nate is approaching 21 days hospitalized at Indiana University Methodist in Indianapolis. He was rushed there following a misdiagnosis here locally.

Nate required emergency surgery on both legs and groin as the arteries to his legs were almost completely blocked with clotted blood. This procedure is called an arterial bypass.

He is going to require more surgery as more

clots have shown up, but he became unstable following the primary surgery and the specialists want to ensure he is healthy for another round. His blood values are off the charts.

Nate is not out of danger by any means. Between the bleeding and clotting, he has been kept in IMCU and CCU. It’s been 3 weeks, and there has been no talk of discharge.

Does the medical pay? Yes. Our deductible has been met, but as you know services are never covered 100%.

The visit to our phony ER locally was $20k

The transport to Methodist is $9.3k

The current charges at Methodist: not known but for 21 days, extensive surgeries, ICU status, etc I don’t even want to guess.

Nate said it was okay for me to do this for him.

Nate has been in EMS for most all of his life. Saving lives while sometimes sacrificing parts of his life, like now.

we know this economy is absolutely horrible for many, but if you have anything at all that could us maintain a roof over our heads, groceries, and basic necessities it would be appreciated more than you know.
