Nathan Fehr
Donation protected
This past week, we tragically lost a cherished member of our small community. A young man who loved his family and had a heart for flying airplanes. Nathan Fehr was on a training flight near Edmonton when something went wrong. The plane crash killed the instructor and left him fighting for his life. Despite the best efforts of first responders and medical teams involved, Nathan succumbed to his injuries a few days later after being on life support and died doing something he loved and was passionate about.
He will be dearly missed by so many friends and family members and most of all by his brother Noah and his parents Isaak and Mary Fehr.
Nathan was the oldest son of Isaak and Mary and the only brother to Noah. Nathan had an interest in flying since he was a little boy and he worked at a co-op placement at the St. Thomas airport during high school. His dream was to be a pilot and work in a control tower at an airport. Nathan moved to Alberta in 2021 and pursued his dreams of piloting while there. He was always a quiet, thoughtful, young man and when in Alberta, his adventurous side came out. He recently went skydiving and learned to snowboard! He grew into himself there. Nathan loved politics and found great enjoyment in following local and federal politics. He loved sports; his favourite teams being the Greenbay Packers and Pittsburgh Penguins. Nathan also loved children and the outdoors.
Nathan had pledged to be an organ donor and through his death, four lives have already been saved.
The cost of bringing Nathan home is unknown at this time and the family will have funeral costs to cover as well. We ask that you would consider helping to support Nathan's family financially to help bring Nathan home from Alberta, so that they can lay him to rest near his family. Any amount is appreciated.
If you do not have the means to support financially, please hold their family in your prayers. We appreciate each and every one of you.
Much love and blessings to you all <3
