Nathan & Kyle's Mission Trip to Arlington, Texas

Nathan & Kyle have an opportunity to go on a mission trip to Arlington, Texas this spring. They will travel with a team from Tabernacle Baptist Church (Wilson, NC) to help Tabernacle Baptist Church (Arlington, TX). The team leaves on March 13 and returns March 18.While there, the team will assist Pastor Scotty Thompson with renovations on the church fellowship hall, which includes removal of the drop ceiling, insulation, and grid. Once that’s removed, the team will install shiplap ceiling and lighting. They will also do painting and light landscaping.

Each one needs $600 to cover airfare, room and board. It will be exciting to see how the Lord provides the funds by the February 26 deadline for this life-changing opportunity. We’ve already seen the Lord provide by orchestrating my time off from teaching that week.

Kyle: I’m excited to see Texas, and I’m looking forward to helping another ministry. I’m also excited to work alongside fellow church members.

Nathan: Pastor Thompson was in my 6th grade class during one of my first few years of teaching. It’s been wonderful to watch him grow into a godly man, husband, and father. I’m looking forward serving with him in his ministry. It’s a neat opportunity to share the talents God has given me, and it’s an added bonus to serve with Kyle on this trip.
