Words will never be sufficient, but thank you to all of you who have provided meals, donated, prayed for and supported me and my family in various other ways. Thank you for being our Simon the Cyrene and true disciples of Christ. We love you.
-The Montez family
The sudden and tragic loss of a child, and brother, is an inconceivable heartbreak that no one could prepare for. However, on Friday, January 26th, the Montez family was confronted by this painful reality with the passing of their beloved 15 year old son and brother, Nathan L. Montez Jr.
Nathan is loved by his family and by so many friends and others who knew him. He was the life of family parties among his cousins and active in the school Band as well as in his church youth group. And if you were lucky enough to know him you got to experience his unique, but infectious, sense of humor. He touched so many of the lives around him and our collective heart breaks for his loss and for his family.
While his family turns to God for fortitude, Grace, and comfort, we are turning to their community for additional support. First and foremost we ask for your prayers for Nathan, his parents and his brothers. Even if you are unable to donate financially, this alone would mean a great deal to his family. Finally, if you are able to provide any financial support, it would be greatly appreciated and will help to ease the financial burden of such an unexpected tragedy.
Please respect the Montez family’s privacy as they mourn the loss of their son and brother.
Thank You and God Bless.
