Nathan McPherson

Nathan's story has been on the news and in the papers, and yes unfortunately on the early hours of Saturday morning the 19th August 2023 Nathan was out drinking at a local pub in his small home town of Maryborough Qld and was a victim of an Unlawful striking causing death. Nathan was left alone unresponsive and severely injured in the middle of the road without help for over half an hour, the attackers left the scene. Nathan sustained significant injuries to his brain from the assault he was flown down to Brisbane however the damage was so severe he would not pull through. Nathan was only 43.

Nathan was a father husband and a son and a good mate to all that knew him, he cared for his elderly father who lives with them they also have 2 young children. Nathan also had 4 other children. The family is beyond devastated. Nathan was in the middle of home renovations and building his own man cave, he had not had a night out in the town for over 2 months which just adds to the heartache. Our dear friends were the average Aussie family, both working and doing their best at life and one careless act from a stranger has gone and turned their world upside down and life will never be the same, our hearts ache for the kids and Carina. So please if you can help in anyway I would appreciate it ❤️

Nathan is still in Brisbane, he will be brought home soon so he can be layed to rest. All money will help Carina and the kids pay bills etc until things settle. Please keep the family in your thoughts ❤️
