Nathan Sheldon

Recently, our dear friend Nathan tragically passed away.

He was a great training partner, friend, son and so much more. Truthfully, we cannot put into words what he meant to all of us.

Nathan had uncanny fitness levels that allowed him to be dominant both on the football pitch and at the gym. He would also regularly go on outrageously long runs across London just to see how far he could push himself - sometimes 40km at a time! As a friend group, we were all dedicated to the fitness lifestyle, yet no one put as much effort or saw as much success in the gym as Nathan.

These feats that Nathan achieved in such a short time has inspired us, as his friends, to emulate the spirit of self-improvement and adventure that he embodied by doing a 100 Mile March across the Holy Land in his honour.

In addition, he always carried the dream of becoming a soldier in order to continue his pursuit of physical challenges, so we couldn’t think of a better way than to raise awareness and support for mens mental health in his honour and memory.

It’s been difficult to write this and try to distil who Nathan was into these few words but we are inspired by what he stood for and are mourning that he took his own life.

We can’t imagine the pain that he was in.

As a result, we as Nathan’s friends, invite you to donate to this page. It will help lend a hand to other Israeli soldiers that are suffering and struggling from the 7th of October to deal with the extreme pressures that life throws at them.
