A day I will never forget. January 11th 2020. The phone is ringing..., I’m being told that my 17 year old son has been shot in the head and they are in route to the hospital. Those words are permanently etched into my heart and echoing I’m trying to process what I just heard.
My son Nathan Thomas was in the wrong place at the wrong time when he was shot. During surgery they were unable to remove the bullet lodged above his cheek bone. The plan is to transfer him to Shands Hospital in Gainesville Florida as long as he is stable enough for the 37 mile trip. He is currently intabated, heavily sedated and we are awaiting CT results. Things can change drastically so he is currently in the ICU.
Nathan will need multiple reconstructive surgeries, including his eye. Any donations are greatly appreciated and needed. This is a such a difficult thing to ask, but we need the the support not only financially but emotionally. Please pray for him and our family during this very difficult time. We need your Love and support.
