Hello, my name is Will Atteberry, Uncle of Nathan Wimsatt, on behalf of the Wimsatt family, we would like to thank the entire community of Taylorsville, KY and the surrounding areas for the prayers and condolences received during this difficult time. It truly is remarkable to see a community come together as we mourn the loss of a son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and most of all a friend. Nathan was a member of the senior class of Spencer County High School and was set to graduate at the end of this school year. Nathan loved being with his friends and representing the Bears by playing soccer and tennis. If you are visiting this page then you are probably aware that on April 29, 2023, we received that phone call that all parents hope not to get.....the call that Nathan had been in a wreck. We later found out at the scene that Nathan did not survive the wreck which has changed our lives forever. Now the Wimsatt family has to not only mourn and grieve over the loss of Nathan, but the family also has to plan his funeral which is no easy task. On the morning of May 1st, the family went to pick out Nathan's cemetery plot and is meeting with the funeral home in the afternoon. As soon as the arrangements are made I will update this page and post the arrangements on social media. It has been brought to our attention that individuals would like to help the Wimsatt family by making donations to the family to help with funeral expenses which is why I have set up this page with the Wimsatt's approval. All funds will be used for the funeral expenses and any extra funds will be used for the Nathan Wimsatt Scholarship Fund. Please continue to pray for this family and send condolences on Facebook, texts, etc. they truly help a grieving family!! Thanks
