Nathaniel the Superhero

The Cerranos found out devastating news about their youngest son, Nathaniel this week. He has been diagnosed with cancer; Nathaniel has B-ALL (leukemia).

"It has been a very rough couple of days for our family. He is very weak- we are trying to stay as positive as possible. Please keep him in your prayers. Nathaniel went into his first procedure today around 11 AM to have a PIC placed into his arm for quick and easy access for chemo medication and for blood draws- no more pokes! He was prepared this morning by getting extra platelets to insure he won't bleed too much. It will stay in his body indefinitely but will make it a whole lot easier on him. He will also be getting a spinal tap to check for cancer there. We are praying for quick procedure time so he doesn't have to be under anesthesia for too long. As long as everything goes smoothly he will begin treatment today and start killing those cancer cells. He's been so strong and brave- it blows our minds."
