National Disability Theatre Launch

National Disability Theatre is so excited to have partnered with La Jolla Playhouse and the Goodman Theatre on three really exciting projects! Three playwright's with disabilities have been commissioned (Christopher Shinn, A.A. Brenner, and Gregg Mozgala)! A director with a disability has been hired! Offers are out to designers with disabilities! And we are about to post casting notices for actors with disabilities. Further these productions will use universal design to be accessible and we are so excited to re-imagine audience access as an artistic element and deeply considered component of how these stories are told.

National Disability Theatre has just finished it's first week at La Jolla Playhouse as artists in residence and so we are so excited to announce our online launch party/celebration!
