NYLF Medical Program Tuition & Flight for Myca

My Biology teacher, Mrs. Veatch, nominated me for the NYLF Medicine & Health Care summer program. This program is part of the Envision by WorldStrides family of programs. The goal is to find leaders in science, who are interested in medicine and healthcare and expose them to life as a doctor and student studying medicine. For the program, I get to go to the University of Berkeley, from June 16th to 23rd!

I’ve been extremely interested in the medical field since my freshman year of high school. It interests me because of its connections with science, and the ability to help people. This program will hopefully allow me to gain some insight on my future in the field, and help me achieve my goal of becoming a doctor.

The cost for the program is $5,500 including room and board on campus, plane tickets, and scrubs. I am asking for donations to help cover the cost. If you’re able to contribute, a donation of any amount would help me reach my goal and would be greatly appreciated!
