National Youth Theatre 2018
Donation protected
Hello.
Thankyou so much for taking the time to look at my go fund me.
I am a young actor, aged 18, living in London. I am very devouted and passionate about what I do. I am willing to do as much as I can to get to where I want to be. I was lucky enough to attend The BRIT School for 4 years. And once I complete my foundation at East 15 acting school, I am hopefully going to go on to do a Degree somewhere at some point.
I am happy to have been successful in my first application to National Youth Theatre’s summer course. It is a 3 week intensive with the likes of Helen Mirren, Daniel Day Lewis, Colin Firth etc etc as alumni. It is a very good opportunity and gateway path for young actors. Once a member you can audition for there westend performances which can lead to great things.
Out of 6,000 applications, I am fortunate enough to have been in the 500 to get through.
However, I live with my Mum and sisters at home, on quite a low income and money is tight. I would be gutted to turn NYT down because of financial reasons. It is really hard to compete in this industry with people who have complete financial support. I am a strong believer that this shouldn’t be a barrier for talent. Therefore any donation, however small, will help a great deal.
Thankyou very much.
