Nationals...here we come!

Hello! This is Miss Miranda and I am writing on behalf of our Lamoine Consolidated School SkillsUSA team. This year, we had 41 students participate in our SkillsUSA Maine competition. Everyone worked so hard and we are so proud of all our students! Our Team Engineering Challenge team earned the right to represent Maine at SkillsUSA Nationals in Atlanta, Georgia.

These three students have worked hard all year and earned their right to compete amongst teams from all fifty states. We have a fifth-grader, sixth-grader, and seventh-grade student representing Lamoine Consolidated School, an honor that we have never had before! This group of students is making history and putting Lamoine, Maine on the map in a way that has never been done.

The funds raised will directly benefit student registration, travel costs, hotel stay, and contest fees associated with their travel to Atlanta, GA. We are so proud of them and their accomplishments and know they'll represent Maine well in this exciting contest.
