Native bird rehab aviary

Donation protected
I have been a wildlife rescuer for almost a year and have a permit to rehabilitate injured native birds. As a wildlife rescuer I provide care and food for rescued birds, transport injured animals to and from wildlife hospital and to carers, and rescue wildlife in response to calls from the public.

As I am a volunteer, I pay for food, petrol, equipment, small rescue cages and all costs associated with being a wildlife rescuer personally, and I have also self-funded the costs of a 3m x 3m rehab aviary personally.

At the moment, my set-up allows me to help smaller birds to be rehabilitated and return to the wild, but I am unable assist with rehab of larger wild native birds like crows, currawongs and kookaburras as my current aviary is not large enough to provide them with the flight practice they need before release. There is a high demand for larger sized rehab aviaries in my area and I would like to purchase a 6m x 2m aviary to assist with larger birds.

Since March I have been stood down from my full time position which has meant I have less capacity to invest in a larger aviary and any support you are able to provide would be greatly appreciated. Every  $5 would help.
