Be Green Without Turf--Native Plant Rescue of Southern Utah

The time has come--we're ready for active partnerships with our Southern Utah community! Our GoFundMe donations are going directly to funding our basic business needs, tools, and the plant rescue supplies needed to get plants moved!

Our primary goal is supporting southern Utah through providing accessible, alternative landscaping options while advocating for the preservation of native plants prior to land development, and we are moving forward with rescuing native plants from areas of imminent habitat destruction, and then re-homing them into private and public spaces in order to support our local plant and animal biodiversity that will preserve the natural desert's topographical beauty, rebuild eco-friendly urban desert forests, create appealing landscaping alternatives, minimize water use, and decrease pollution through re-establishing desert forests.

We are working towards collaborative partnership with the State of Utah - Water Division, USDA, Washington County Water Conservancy District (WCWCD), BLM, local plant nurseries, regional non-profit conservation organizations, and our local communities, in order to further water conservation efforts, practice sustainable development, and focus on climate-sensitive landscaping options as long-term, practical, local solutions to climate change, rapid population growth, and limited natural resources.
