Can we as humans actually understand or imagine the extent of damage and destruction of these fires.. In the now, but also for years, decades to come
Millions upon millions of dollars are being donated, but to human causes. This is incredible and shows how the world unites in times of extreme crisis.
However, there are many animal rescue groups are in crisis!
The animal death toll is now reaching close to 1 billion - depending on who is referencing this, but in reality, how can we even know.
Animals in crisis need human intervention. The survivors not only have the long and painful journey of physical healing, but following that, they do not have a home to return to
The current situation is seeing support groups in overdrive on search and recover missions, food deliveries, veterinary care and rehabilitation etc
The time to manage the future however is also now.
Resources. Funding. Political action.

I have chosen to raise funds for ANIMALS AUSTRALIA.
An organisation who has been a major driver of change for the animals of Australia - of all species.
Their major focus now undoubtedly on the crisis at hand
Animals Australia have the resources to strategically and critically analyse what is needed where, and the reach of support is incredible.
They are not only throwing great support to the now - but also laying the groundwork for future starvation events and habitat restoration so survivors have a fighting chance of repopulation
Some examples of their current action:
2 planes flown to Malacoota loaded with 1700ks of animal food, and generators
Flying specialised wildlife vets to support wildlife carers
2 new vehicles for vet teams and Kangaroo Island and Malcoota to help transport surviving animals to care
Funding wildlife carers nationwide - set up a grant through the Foundation of National Parks and Wildlife so support groups can access funds when needed
Channelling donations to where they are needed most providing immediate support to animals in need
Providing emergency grants to vet clinics to be distributed to carers in the worst impacted fire zones
Contacting politicians about the ongoing challenges facing survivors - laying the groundwork for long term protection, starvation events, and repopulation support

今だけでなく、この先何年も、何十年にも渡って続くのです。
現在、人的被害のために何百万ドルもの寄付が行われています。これは驚くべきことで、この極めて危機的な状況に際して、いかに世界が団結するかを示しています。ただ、その一方で、多くの動物救護団体が危機に瀕しています。
これまでに10億近くの動物の命が失われたと言われています。誰が言及しているかにもよりますが、実際の数を私たちは知りようがありません。
危機に直面している動物たちには人間の介入が必要です。 かろうじて生き延びた彼らには、身体的な癒しのための長い苦痛の旅が持っているだけでなく、帰る家もありません。
現在、動物たちの捜索や食料配給、獣医によるケア、リハビリなど、支援グループの活動は限界に達しています。
救援のためのリソース、資金調達、 政治的行動、ー 未来を管理する時も今です。
私は、Animals Australiaへの支援のために資金を調達することを選択しました。
彼らは、オーストラリアの全ての種の動物たちのための組織です。現在、彼らの焦点は間違いなく目の前の危機にあります。
Animals Australiaは、必要なものが必要な場所に行き届くよう、戦略的な分析を可能にするリソースを持っています。
彼らは今だけでなく、将来の飢餓を防ぐ生息地の回復のための土台づくりも進めています。
これによって、生き延びた動物たちには再繁殖のチャンスがもたらされるでしょう。
以下は現在の活動例です。

野生動物専門の獣医の派遣
カンガルー島とMallcootaへ、動物救護へ向かう獣医チームのために、２台の新車両を導入
全国の野生動物救護者のための基金 - The Foundation of National Parks and Wildlifeを通じて補助金を設定。支援グループは必要な時に資金にアクセス可能
至急資金が必要な場所へ寄付金の分配
最も火災の被害が大きい地域の動物病院に緊急の補助金を提供
被災動物が直面している課題について政治家への働きかけ - 長期的な保護、飢餓対策、再繁殖支援に向けての基礎を築く
