Help relaunch Native Daughter

Most of you know I took a needed break from selling my jewelry a year ago, knowing it was time to put the bigger intention into action and put some infrastructure behind the business. As I work to re-launch my jewelry line with an entirely new collection and rebrand formerly Native Daughter into House of Native Daughter as a women's design collective, I humbly ask for the help of those closest to me to so I can see this through.
House of Native Daughter is a dream finally coming to fruition that I’ve kept in my heart for a very long time. The idea is that House of Native Daughter will be home to not only my jewelry collection but to other up and coming designers and makers using sustainable practices in their methods of production. As time progresses, we see this expanding to include more and more women artists, all around the world, acting as a stepping stone to individual success using a collective model. House of Native Daughter will serve as an incubator where cutting edge design meets sustainable & environmentally conscious production- a necessity in the consumer driven & highly emblematic fashion industry. The goal is to put the money directly in the hands of the artist, and to bring a new awareness to the fashion industry that everyone involved is uplifted by.
Furthermore, as a collective we intend to have an even bigger impact on our community of women at large, starting here in our own backyard in Oakland. The goal is to begin working with the local organization MISSSEY. MISSSEY works to help create opportunity & provide resources for women who have been sold in the sex trade. As a collective, we hope to step in and offer creative skills, art therapy, and eventually paid work to these women in the hopes of empowering them to find a way out.
I need your help to catalyze this dream of mine... which naturally starts with my own art. I am hoping to raise $2,500. I need 25 friends with $100 or 100 friends with $25…or somewhere in between. I am asking for what I feel is attainable and am offering some amazing gifts in the hopes that I can meet this goal! This money will be used to help me put into production the new collection I have been working on, and thus set the rest of this plan into action.
The $2,500 will be used for:
-Metal cutting for new designs
-Purchasing supplies
-Purchasing new equipment to start new studio
-Hiring web & graphic designer to help put finishing touches on website and collective graphics.
-Fund the intial photoshoots for the new line & the first collective shoot
-Go towards the gifts I plan to give to those who donated!
Every little bit counts. If all you can spare are words of encouragement & a possible "share" on facebook that is more than enough, and I thank you for any extra generosity you may share.
**See pictures of the gifts I am offering at this link. www.facebook.com/nativedaughter
**Please allow 2 months for your gifts to arrive and I will be in contact with each of you directly.
I almost have my business plan complete and can answer any logistical questions about how I plan to operate this if anyone is curious! Email me!
