Nat's 21st Fundraiser

Donation protected
Throughout the year, people have been asking me how I'll be celebrating my 21st and if you were one of them, this is my answer: a birthday fundraiser to fight against extreme poverty :-)

With the help of CARE.org, where your donations will go towards helping children have access to quality education, healthcare opportunities for safe paid work and freedom from abuse is critical to overcoming poverty. Also, because it's the holiday season (it's the Christmas spirit of giving!), CARE.org is doubling all donations made through 31 dec – insane!!

Over this past year in Melbourne, I've had the opportunity to be a part of great campaigns against poverty and/or for education like Live Below the Line (Oaktree) & Do It In A Dress (OneGirl) with the teams in IH. I've learned heaps about the big issue of poverty and how education can help put an end to this vicious cycle.

Most of us are fortunate enough to have gone through years of education all the way up to University, while 66 million girls never had the chance to even go for one class. That's a pretty mind-blowing thing to me.

So why a birthday fundraiser?
Ever since I first found out about birthday fundraisers, I really wanted to have one of my own & when better than now! To be honest, I've never been 'loud' about my birthday but as we're all told, a 21st is a big deal so I thought I'd ought to do something, but a little differently. This is, to me, the best way to celebrate 21 years of blessings in my life & it would mean so much to me if you would be a part of this and make my fundraiser a reality :-)

If you ask me, it's the best win-win situation you could get! (To all my lovely friend with best intentions) Save yourself the stress/trouble of getting a birthday present and do a little good in our world. That being said, do this for the cause, not for me.
