Natural Bodybuilding World Championships trip

I’m Nick, and I’m here currently swallowing my pride and asking for help (which is something I hate and never do) to get me to the INBA World Championships in Bodybuilding held in Holland 14th-16th June.

I entered my first ever natural Bodybuilding competition on the 26th May 2024 at the ripe old age of 44. After 9 months of dedication and discipline, counting pretty much every calorie consumed, cutting out alcohol, not going out for meals, restricting food intake for 4 months of that, training ridiculously hard 5 days a week for an hour and a half each day, most of the time barely having the energy to walk to the car, let alone putting myself through a gruelling session and doing this all off my own back, I looked in the best shape of my life. I won the Masters category (over 40’s) and came 3rd overall across all male categories. This earned me an invite to the World Championships! I was thrilled and actually proud of myself, which is another thing I’m not good at.

On being led to believe it was all funded I couldn’t wait, only to find out it needed to be self funded and is in less than 3 weeks. So here I am asking for help towards flights, accommodation at the event, on site tanning services and transfers. I am trying to find ways of reducing costs by sharing accommodation etc and will adjust goal cost accordingly, but alternative travel and venue options seem to add extra time constraints and inconveniences which wouldn’t be ideal when trying to be prepped to step on stage in the best physical and mental state to be as competitive as possible to hopefully come out victorious.

I would be very appreciative for any donation to support my cause, no matter what the value. If the donations by any chance exceed the goal amount, any extra will help with costs incurred from qualifying (entry, membership, tan, pants, vitamin and sports supplements etc) and maybe a celebratory beer and Dutch pancake.
