Natural Disaster in Badakhshan, Tajikistan

Our homeland Badakhshan is suffering from the consequences of natural disaster – avalanches that took the life of 13 people, injured over 15 people, and destroyed several houses leaving people homeless in the harsh winter of Pamir mountains. The numbers are increasing every hour and we all need to step in.

[ENG] Local teams – rescuers, volunteers, officials, medical staff – all are doing their best to save lives. Few people, including minors, were rescued and the search continues. Those of us who are far from our homeland can also do our share. Let’s come together, mobilise our resources and help those in need.

We at Pamiri Youth Network have been witnessing your generosity and support throughout the tough times we were facing as a community. Therefore, we are launching the current fundraising in the hope that together we can support those affected and help them to recover from this tragedy. Your support will be appreciated. Please remember – no amount is small, every penny, every cent counts in this situation.

Наша Родина Бадахшан страдает от последствий стихийного бедствия – лавин, унесших жизни 13 человек, ранивших более 15 человек, разрушивших несколько домов, оставивших людей без крова в суровую зиму Памира. Цифры растут с каждым часом, и мы все должны вмешаться.

Местные команды – спасатели, волонтеры, чиновники, медперсонал – делают все возможное для спасения жизней. Несколько человек, в том числе несовершеннолетние, были спасены, поиски продолжаются. Свою лепту могут внести и те из нас, кто далеко от родины. Давайте объединимся, мобилизуем наши ресурсы и поможем нуждающимся.

Мы в Pamiri Youth Network были свидетелями вашей щедрости и поддержки в трудные времена (COVID-19), с которыми столкнулось наше общество. Поэтому мы запускаем нынешний сбор средств в надежде, что вместе сможем поддержать пострадавших и помочь им оправиться от этой трагедии. Ваша поддержка будет оценена по достоинству.
