Rios Family Loss

Never in a million years would I think I’d be posting one of these campaigns. But, here it goes....

Unfortunately, my husband’s family suffered a horrific, unimaginable loss which has led to the creation of this GoFund Me.

Just a few short months ago, this wonderful family lost the Patriarch of their family. Their Father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great-great grandfather. His wife, of 78 years, lost her husband. He was her life, as she was his. The picture on this page is Dolores Rios (Lola) visiting her husband’s gravesite just 2 days ago. His headstone had just been set in place and she now had a place to go & grieve her husband. Little did anyone know, this would be the last time Dolores would get to visit this gravesite.

Last night, the unthinkable happened. The home in which Pedro & Dolores bought and raised their family in, caught fire. The fire grew rapidly and in an instant the home became completely engulfed in flames. The flames were so hot and created too dangerous of conditions, which left Dolores trapped inside. Unfortunately due to these conditions she was not able to be retrieved and passed away at the age of 92, in the home her & her husband had called home for 45+ years. 

Due to the financial strain, and great losses this family has suffered within this short period of time, I am asking for small donations to lessen the burden during this tough time. Any sort of donations will be greatly appreciated, and even just knowing that they’re kept and lifted in prayer is appreciated also.
