Support for Navajo Police Officer

Donation protected
We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Navajo Nation Police Officer, Mario St. Germaine, 35, of Blue Gap and Kayenta, AZ after a 3-month long battle with Leukemia.  He leaves behind his loving wife, Pamela, and their two young daughters, ages 2 and 4.

As a grieving family, we are devastated by Mario’s passing, and are struggling to cope with how such a kind, intelligent, and hopeful person is no longer with us.  He was a loving family man, who cared passionately about everyone around him, and had a knack for finding the best in every person.  Mario was a hero to the Navajo Nation, and its police force.

As a police officer, Mario selflessly served his Diné people for more than 15 years.  During his course of work as a Navajo officer in the Kayenta jurisdiction, he was regularly one of only three on-duty officers responsible for patrolling 15,000 square miles of rural reservation land in his district without a partner.  As an undercover officer, he often served in situations of high risk in order to better serve his community.

Officer St. Germaine’s family and their well-being was always the most paramount thing to him.  He was fighting leukemia for them.  As with everything he did in life, he approached his treatment in heroic fashion, taking on the most aggressive protocol in order to give himself the best chance at survival.  His mission was to do whatever he could to return to his wife and daughters, and to the service of the Navajo people.

Mario was the sole provider for his wife and two young daughters, and on his behalf, we ask for your assistance.  Any and all funds raised through this campaign will go toward honoring Officer St. Germaine and helping his wife and daughters through this very difficult time.  All donations, no matter how small, will make a monumental difference in helping to give a future to Mario’s young family.

Please help us honor Officer St. Germaine’s story of heroism and compassion by sharing this campaign.
