Navigating the Needs for the Neylon Family

While 6th-grade science teacher Erin Neylon was first diagnosed with melanoma three years ago, new scans in March of 2023 showed that it had metastasized in her liver and lungs. She spent the following five months igniting an inner optimism to help her ruthlessly fight through various treatments.

On August 17, 2023, Erin's battle may have ended, but so did her pain. What cannot be extinguished is how she will be remembered: loving mother and wife, caring daughter, innovative teacher, selfless friend, motivating mentor, and genuine human being--not to mention her dedication to those she loved, her contagious laugh, and her unmatchable sense of humor.

While this GoFundMe page was initially created back in April, it has since been updated and maintains its original purpose: we are trying to help Erin's family navigate the financial challenges, specifically medical expenses, that have continued to build since March.
