Navy Club Edinburgh Appeal

As the secretary of The Navy Club, times are hard at present. We've been closed since the 20th March due to the pandemic and we are missing everyone.
Being closed for 4 weeks now has been hard for us all as individuals but unfortunately the day to day running of the club has continued in those 4 weeks. Bills keeping arriving and still need paid.
Although I'm spending time daily on keeping the club as viable as I can - so we can all be together again, the likelihood is we'll be closed for a while yet and the bank will eventually run dry.
I've obviously been applying for the government grants, etc, however these take time, so in the meantime, I'm going to appeal to YOU - our members.
I've started this page to help keep the club bank account ticking over until hopefully the government grant comes in (and it needs to come in).
If you can help 'our club' in any way - please do so?
Whether it's a one-off donation, the £1 you put on the tote, the £3 on 1-90s, £9 for your bingo books, aĺl these small weekly donations would all mount up and help us out?
I've set the total at £4,000 (you may feel this is ambitious but it would be great to beat it) so I hear you ask why? Well we are just short of 400 members and if every member could give up at least £10 it would make a significant difference.
I know times are hard for us all just now and the NHS (quite rightly) might be getting your donations. But when this is all over and we get back to some normality we'll all need/want somewhere to go.
Make sure that place is our club.
Donate if you can and become our key workers.
