Many of our friends and co-workers have been devastated by Hurricane Michael. Our goal is:
To raise money, through individual anonymous contributions, to support Dewberry employees significantly affected.
Our Intent is:
All monies raised are intended to be used by those employees who were displaced from their homes for an extended period of time or otherwise significantly affected by the storm to pay for temporary housing, food, supplies, and other basic necessities, at their discretion.
Contributions to the Go Fund Me Account:
*Will be accepted for a period of 45 days, beginning on October 19, 2018. On December 3, 2018, the Go Fund Me account will be closed.
*A committee, comprised of Dave Francis, Laurie Kroll, Brenda Tudge, Cliff Wilson, and Dave Maxwell, has been established to decide how the contributions to the account will be distributed.
*The beneficiary of the Go Fund Me account will be Dave Francis, who will serve as the Chairman of the committee and have primary responsibility for distributing the funds.
*It is the intent of the committee to distribute the funds fairly and equitably to those Dewberry employees most severely affected by Hurricane Michael.
*The committee has the authority to distribute any unused or excess funds (after the equitable distribution described above) to the American Red Cross to help those affected by Hurricane Michael.
*The committee will meet on December 6, 2018 to make final decisions on the distribution of funds, and the funds will be distributed no later than December 10, 2018.
*Requests or suggestions to the committee will not be allowed.
*The distribution of funds will be at the sole discretion of the committee.
The distribution of funds will be confidential. Information on how the funds were distributed will not be made available by the committee.
