Nazifa's Emergency Fund
Donation protected
On October 21st, 2017, Nazifa and her entire family of six were accidentally exposed to a poison called aluminum phosphide. The poison immediately turned to a gas form and everyone was admitted to the hospital with severe nausea, vomiting, and difficulty breathing. Nazifa, who is turning 4 years old this December 10th, 2017, quickly became critically ill, her heart and lungs began to fail her. She suffered a heart attack and subsequently had an emergency heart surgery to place her on life support because her heart could no longer beat on its own. Currently she is admitted to an Intensive Care Unit, where she is on hemodialysis, bleeding from multiple sites on her body and suffering from multi-organ failure.
In the midst of all this, her family has been displaced from their home with no permanent place to stay. They are unable to return until the poison can be cleared. Unfortunately the only contractor willing to help the family is requesting $61,523.00. If they cannot sign a contract and make payments by Monday November 6th, 2017, they will be facing fines up to $10,000 each day that they cannot pay. At this point, the family does not have the funds or means to pay for this critical step in regaining their home. They need all the help and prayers they can get to return home so they can focus all their efforts on being by Nazifa’s side through this difficult time.
Nazifa started pre-school this past September. She loves reading, cooking in her Minnie Mouse Kitchen for her friends and family, as well as singing and dancing to her favorite music. Her dream is to become a doctor so that she can one day "help people." Please keep Nazifa and her family in your prayers.
