Athro Lounge is raising money for Blood Cancer UK this June

In January we lost someone very close to the Athro Family. We chose to dedicate our LoungeAid, our company's fundraising initiative in June, to raising money for Blood Cancer UK on behalf of their family.

Over the month of June, Athro Lounge will be holding events or partaking in a sponsored walk to help raise funds for Blood Cancer UK. Check out below to see what we currently have planned.

Quiz Nights:

We currently run our Quiz Nights every two weeks, and during the month of June half of the pot will be going to our chosen charity. We will be holding our quizzes on Wednesday 5th June and Wednesday 19th June. The 19th will be a themed quiz (our Star Wars one in May was a huge hit) and will be covering all things Disney, Pixar and other animated movies. Our quizzes start at 7pm and are a £2 entry per person - with half of the pot going to the winning team.

Bingo Night:

This is a new idea we are bringing to our Lounge, with the success of our Quiz Nights, we will be bringing Bingo Night to Athro. We will have bingo sheets that will be available to purchase for each game (multiple purchases are accepted) and we will be running line games and finishing with a full house game. Our Bingo Night will be on Sunday 16th June, starting at 7pm, the sheets will be available to purchase at £1 a sheet with prizes for the winning players and the proceeds going to Blood Cancer UK.

Sponsored Walk up Snowdon:

On Tuesday 25th June, members of the team will be getting together to do a sponsored walk up Snowdon, others are more than welcome to join us for our climb and we will update here once we have decided on which track to undertake and our starting time. For many of the team, this will be their first time climbing Snowdon and any donation would be greatly appreciated.
