"Hattie's Echo" A New Musical Support
Donation protected
"Hattie's Echo" is a brand new musical written by Charlotte Westover, a student studying at Brigham Young University in the hopes to make playwriting her profession. This full length handcart pioneer musical has been in the works for over 5 years and recently had it's first workshopped production at BYU. The response was far beyond anything the team expected and the outcry for more performances did not go unnoticed.
Hattie's Echo tells the story of a 15 year old latter day saint handcart pioneer from Liverpool whose journal serves as a rescue to her posterity in the modern day. This show features original music written and orchestrated by Charlotte - a soundtrack that is sure to make you laugh, cry, and sing along!
The transformative power of this show is tangible and we are asking for donations to help kickstart the next phase of it's development.
Your donation will go towards covering expenses of future productions and readings, cast albums and recordings, and will also support the playwright and her team as they work tirelessly to bring this show to a stage near you!
