Shirley's Medical Fund

Shirley Tipsword. She’s an icon to more of us than the few that don’t know her. In our canine community, she has been a constant presence on multiple levels; from training us to training our dogs  to top levels of performance, to judging our skills in Nosework trials, to knowing the history and lineage of her dogs as a revered Medicine woman of those linked to her tribe.


For all that she has done for all of us – we are asking you to find it in your heart to do something for her. She is not asking, but here is what you must know. Last night, Shirley suffered a horrible fall in the snow, fracturing her kneecap, and requiring surgery. Like so many of us, she lives on a shoestring and a prayer and because of circumstances beyond her control, she does not have medical insurance at  this time.


The dog community’s generosity is limitless and boundless. Please consider helping us help Shirley and ease her concerns as she prepares to do what needs to be done to get her back on her feet and get back to us, where we need her, miss her and want her back with us.
