Northaven Assisted Living is one of very few senior living communities that accept people who have become Medicaid dependent. Eighty percent of our residents fit that category. Their families come to us in tears because they can’t find a facility that will accept them.

Medicaid payments have not kept up with inflation and rising labor costs. In 2014 Northaven provided over $300,000 in uncompensated care because of our commitment to these hard working and frugal elders who have lived past their resources.
