The North Bay Police Association PeeWee Trappers have been selected as the houseleague hockey team representing Northern Ontario in the Canada 150 Hockey on the Hill tournament. They are one of sixteen teams across Canada that were chosen through this nationwide contest. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity!
The tournament runs from December 27-31, 2017 in Ottawa, Ontario. Our boys are guaranteed to play a minimum of three tournament games with at least one being played on the Canada 150 rink on Parliament Hill!
While accommodations and transportation is provided for the boys, we are attempting to make this endeavour financially feasible for families to attend. With the tournament being so close to Christmas, many families are scrambling to find a way to make ends meet. These boys are 11 and 12 years old and need to share this experience with their loved ones.
Any funds raised will go directly to offsetting travel costs, accommodations, meals and other expenses. Thank you for your consideration. Anything you can do for us is greatly appreciated.
Our boys understand the significant role they have in representing Northern Ontario in our nation's capital and they are ready to showcase themselves as teammates and leaders, on and off the ice!
