Help the Finnegan Family
What was going to be a simple $850 plumbing job turned into a $8k excavation. Our dear friend Liz Finnegan, who shares her home with her parents and two young children, have suffered heavy damage both emotionally and financially when a clogged downstairs toilet flooded and caused irreparable damage to Liz' office and her children’s play room. The culprit, being a rusted sewage pipe that was broken by a renegade root of a tree in their front yard.
Insurance will cover part of it but $8.5k of the costs are burdened on Liz and her family. And given the current circumstances with Covid-19, leaving the family unable to work or leave the house this will most likely leave Liz and her family in a place we’d rather not like to think about.
We're asking for help to cover the initial $8.5k to help the family get things moving and not lose their home due to the high cost. We understand everyone is hurting during this pandemic and we're hoping that you can give whatever you can to help out during this extreme, extenuating circumstance.
Liz has brought so much joy, laughter, and love into our lives, we’re all better for knowing her. If her writing, love of football, hot takes or just general amazingness has ever made you smile or made your day a little better, please consider chipping in. Let’s rally together and help out our beloved ginger!
