NBU5's Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

Follow Marie, the pre-school lead along with some of the past and present parents of Nacton and Bucklesham Under 5's to complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. On Saturday 30th September the 10 volunteers will take on the 24 mile circular route, that includes a total of 5200ft ascent, all within 12 hours.

Nacton and Bucklesham Under 5's has been a thriving pre-school since it came to Nacton in 1977, the pre-school hit difficult times along with many other charity run pre-school's over the past few years. In 2022 Marie joined the team as the lead and has worked hard to keep the doors open. With this being said the hard work has only just begun as she along with the committee decided to take on the biggest fundraising event to date with this challenge.

They hope that by taking on this challenge, they can help raise essential funds for the pre-school and raise awareness for the ever growing need of support in early years education.
