NC State Fair - Fundraiser for Fire - Joe Crosby

For many years, the N.C. State Fair has employed a Grounds Superintendent who lives on property to provide service to our show promoters and facilities during non-business hours.

Many people have met Joe and Ronda Crosby here at the N.C. State Fair. They are an integral part of our fair family. Not only does their family live here at the Fairgrounds year-round, but they also met, fell in love and married in our historic chapel.

In the early hours of November 16th, a fire started in the home they share here on the grounds. The contents of the home are a total loss. As word has spread amongst all our fair friends, we have had contact with those who would like to help Joe and Ronda through this difficult time as they begin to navigate this terrible situation.

All funds collected through this GoFundMe will be given directly to Joe and Ronda for help with living expenses and replacement of material items they have lost.

Please check your smoke detectors! They save lives. The Crosby Family and their great dane Boone are physically safe today because of working smoke detectors in the home. Check your batteries on a regular schedule, it could save your life as well!
